Vasteras SK FK has appointed Robin Blommé as new sports director. Blommé will take over the responsibility for the club's sports activities from next year. The club announced the news on Monday. Robin Blommé has previously been 'players manager' and will now be responsible for the entire sports activities of the association. Ado Sadzak, sports manager in VSK Football's board, is pleased with the choice of Blommé. Blommé says that he will go in with his whole heart in the work and that he believes he can contribute a lot to the club. Vasteras SK FK lost in the last round against Brage and thus, as a newcomer, became tenth in Superettan. Now the association announces that it will further professionalize the organization to be able to take the next step. Blommé will focus on the senior team, but also develop the cooperation between the senior and academy activities and between the academy and youth activities. The ongoing squad building for 2020 is a big puzzle to solve, but Blommé is convinced that they can create a good balance that allows them to get even better performances individually and collectively from a tighter budget. Vasteras SK FK will try to build a squad with a mix of locally anchored players, reinforcements from outside and some younger talents with potential to develop with us. Blommé is ready to take on the challenge and is sure that he can make a positive difference for the club.
